CAPTAIN- Freddie Obregon
Captain Freddie is an experienced maritime professional with over 7 years as a successful Yacht Captain and 20+ years in the Merchant Marine industry. Holding an Unlimited Master License and multiple advanced certifications, he is proficient in the operation, safety, and management of private and charter yachts worldwide. Known for his loyalty, excellent safety record, and leadership, Captain Freddie is fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. He has extensive experience navigating the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and the Americas, ensuring exceptional service and operational excellence. When Freddie is not in the Pilot House, he enjoys sailing around the world, being active playing tennis and swimming. He is a real big foodie and loves trying new cuisines. Captain Freddie absolutely loves being a yacht captain and hopes that guests have the experience of their life aboard ARTHUR’S WAY.

FIRST OFFICER- MANUEL CISNEROS
Born by the sea and a professional surfer since the age of 17, Manuel brings his passion for watersports and yachting excellence to every charter. He is a dynamic and adventurous worker with over five years of yacht and support vessel experience, ranging from 30 to 120 meters. Fluent in English and Spanish, he's as adept at guest operations and tender driving as he is at navigation and deck maintenance. Whether cruising the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, or the Pacific, Manuel’s goal is to deliver unforgettable experiences for owners and guests, all while leading with skill, energy, and professionalism.

DECKHAND- EDUARDO GARATE
Eduardo is a passionate, disciplined and hardworking Deckhand, with a dedicated focus on his professional development in the yachting industry. Starting his career about 3 years ago, he worked on a 33m yacht for one year and has been based in the states since. With a passion for maintaining a pristine vessel and ensuring top-tier guest experiences, Eduardo brings energy, precision, and a love for the ocean to every charter. Whether tying the perfect knot or assisting with thrilling water sports, Eduardo is dedicated to making every charter unforgettable. When he is on charter, Eduardo enjoys wakeboarding, fishing, and jet skiing. He is also a survival expert and can make the most out of any situation, good or bad. At home, Eduardo loves to cook yummy meals.


DECKHAND- BRUCE WILSON
Bruce comes from the concrete jungle (Johannesburg South Africa). After finishing high school, he went into plumbing and worked with his hands and thoroughly enjoyed problem solving. Eventually, he decided to follow his dream to work at sea while still being able to work with his hands and meet new amazing people along the way!


CHIEF ENGINEER- IDO BARKET
Ido is an Israeli engineer who came into yachts after finishing his Navy service as a Chief Engineer of an Israeli Navy patrol vessel on the southern border of its Mediterranean coast. Ido started yachting in 2021 and since then worked on different yachts as a Chief Engineer in different locations including Bahamas, Mediterranean and Seychelles.

CHIEF STEWARDESS- ALEXANDRA MARIUXI DEL POZO CARRENO
Alex was born & raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Her journey in the maritime industry began in 2011, working as a cruise manager in the Galápagos Islands for over six years. This experience opened the door to the yachting industry when Alex was recruited by a company seeking onboard personnel. Since then, she has embraced my passion for hospitality and leadership, always striving to provide exceptional guest experiences. Throughout her career, she has worked on various cruise ships in the Galápagos Islands, as well as private and charter yachts, consistently serving as Chief Stewardess. These opportunities have allowed Alex to refine her skills in managing teams and ensuring top-tier service. She cherishes' spending time with friends, enjoying a relaxing day off at the beach, and sharing quality vacation moments with her family. These activities help Alex recharge and stay connected to what matters most.

2ND STEWARDESS- ERIKA DE LA MORA
Erika was born in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco Mexico, she grew up in a traditional Mexican family with her parents and her younger brother. She used to work as a high school teacher, but her life changed in 2017 starting in the yachting industry, performing in different yachts like M/Y Tremenda, M/Y Ocean Dreamwalker III, M/Y Emina and M/Y Mercy as Second and Chief Stew, doing navigation on Caribbean, Pacific Ocean and Mediterranean Sea.
She likes cycling and doing CrossFit to stay fit, loves a lot to go to the beach, has a great personality, is energetic and creative. Erika is passionate in her job as a stewardess and always has a smile to give, positive vibes and optimistic attitude. She provides great attention and service to the guests, so they can enjoy and have the best experience on board.
Without forgetting her organization skills with exceptional attention to details and committed to excellence, always ready to receive the guests, something that will undoubtedly make them want to return to M/Y Arthur’s Way.

MARIA ARIAS- 3RD STEWARDESS
Maria is an enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly skilled Chief Stewardess with over four years of experience aboard private and charter yachts. Known for her professionalism, organizational talent, and exceptional guest service, Maria thrives in delivering world-class experiences on board. Her expertise includes interior management, housekeeping, and creating memorable themed events, all while ensuring seamless service and an immaculate environment. Maria's leadership skills shine through in building strong team dynamics and mentoring junior crew members. She brings certifications in bartending, yacht interior management, and open-water diving, which enhances her ability to deliver tailored guest experiences both on deck and beyond. CHEF- DARIO SUAREZ PLUA
Chef Dario was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He entered the boating world in 2008, at 29. Beforehand, he had worked in luxury hotels and restaurants, deciding to make the switch to cruise ships completely out of curiosity. Dario sailed the Enchanted Islands on the Galapagos explorer cruise, then worked as Executive Chef for Silversea Cruises and Celebrity Cruises for a total of nine years. Throughout his journeys, Dario has traveled to the Galapagos Islands, Margarita Island, Peru , San Andres. Other than the obvious – cooking- his hobbies include reading and writing about his life. He especially loves to cook for his children. When asked about his treatment of onboard guests are like “a group of friends” for whom he loves to cook, and “with great respect” he likes to “please their culinary tastes”. Since he is originally from Ecuador, Spanish is his first language but is also fluent in English.

We’ll be pleased to assist you in deciding which activities suit your personality and interests the best. Your crew and captain are experts. They are familiar with the locale and the greatest things to do. They can give advice on where to go fishing, diving, or snorkeling. They are aware of the locations of the remotest beaches. They can give advice on the top boutiques, eateries, or nightclubs.

We’ll provide you a food choice survey to fill out so we can figure out what kinds of meals you and your visitors would like to eat while you’re away. Along with your preferences, the form will ask about any dietary requirements, medical restrictions, or food allergies that any members of your party may have. Prior to your departure, you will also get the chance to ask any questions of a crew member. The team will next make your favorite cocktails and fresh, gourmet meals for the rest of the voyage.

Running costs are not included in the rates given for motor yacht charters and must be paid separately. Catamarans for sailing must be all-inclusive. The costs are determined by the number of people and cover all meals, drinks (including the typical ship’s bar), fuel, ice, and aquatic activities. Taxes, dockage fees, and communication expenses must all be paid individually.

Food, alcohol, fuel, dockage, port fees, and any other costs associated with the charter are considered running costs.
Typically, the operating costs represent 35% of the base charter fee. A 35% Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) will be paid in advance of your departure, giving the crew time to stock the yacht. A detailed breakdown of all costs will be provided to you at the conclusion of the charter. If there is still a balance, you will get a refund; however, if expenses are higher than the APA, you will have to pay the outstanding balance before disembarking.

Florida’s tax ranges from 6-7%, depending on the port of embarkation, while the Bahamian tax is 14%. The charter cost also includes tax.

What to anticipate if you have to cancel your vacation is covered in your charter agreement. To protect yourself in the event that unavoidable circumstances force you to cancel your trip, we advise buying cancellation insurance.

The captain’s first priority, however, is the security of his crew and the boat. He has the last say on anything that could affect the safety of passengers.

Yes. Although not required, leaving a tip is encouraged, especially if your yacht rental experience left you feeling especially satisfied. At the completion of your charter, you should give the captain a 15% gratuity.

Once you’ve decided on a yacht, we’ll place an “option” on it, securing it for 48 hours while you finish the paperwork. Then, a yacht charter agreement must be read and signed. We are happy to answer any queries you may have and thoroughly explain the terms. You must send your completed contract together with a deposit for the charter.

50% of the charter cost is required as a down payment; however, if there are less than 30 days to departure, the whole amount is due. The deposit is made via bank wire transfer and is kept in an escrow account by the principal agent of the yacht until just before the charter date. You have secured the yacht once we get your signed contract and down payment.

We’ll start collaborating with you to customize your charter. Your food and exercise preference survey will be delivered to you. We’ll set up a phone call for you and the crew. We will assist you in planning all charter-related details, including transportation in a limousine and flights.

If you are renting a motor boat, the APA funds and the remaining balance of the charter are due 30 days before the start of your trip.
